INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:
1) performing inventory checks to maintain accuracy and control of property; 2) providing corrective action with discrepancies in inventory; and 3) coordinating, scheduling, and conducting property turn-in and disposal transactions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-07) or equivalent pay band. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
