BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, such as strategic studies. OR A combination of education and experience - courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, such as strategic studies, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above. In addition to meeting the Basic Education Requirement above, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:
1) developing and applying criteria for graduate level resident and distance learning programs; 2) overseeing all aspects of academic records, to include student registration, academic records maintenance, grade recording, academic audits, and validation of program completion; AND 3) overseeing a graduate-level student information system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-11) or equivalent pay band. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
