This position supports quality assurance for the North America Distribution Center. This position helps ensure accurate performance within the DC by providing real time comparison of shipping and receiving documents with physical inbound and outbound quantities. Assess and provide immediate feedback on conformance to procedures, warehouse instructions and shipping documents.
This is a key role to ensure that performance KPIs at the Distribution Center are accurately measured and adhered to. Ensures timely identification and correction of discrepancies. Investigates and helps resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
Review shipping documents to ensure all requirements of customer shipments are met (including labeling, material integrity, etc.)
Work with Distribution Center employees supporting receiving and shipping procedures
Recommend training for recurring operator errors
SAP expertise as it relates to hand gun operation, investigating inventory discrepancies, shipping and receiving procedures
Assist with relabeling and product identification issues:
Correct labels
Date issues
Maintain label
Customer Service
Assists QA/CSC to ensure that all DC based customer complaints are resolved and effective corrective actions are in place
Records DC KPIs related to accuracy and on time performance
Apprise management of one time and recurring issues for process monitoring and improvement.
DC Operations
Operate material handling equipment as needed to provide error/issue resolution
Interface with office staff to access shipping and receiving documents
Provide immediate feedback to operators for timely error correction
Required Education:
High School graduate or equivalent.
SAP experience a strong plus
Qualifications:
Knowledge of SAP (3
years) is preferred.
3
years of warehouse experience including shipping, freight, order entry, operation of material handling equipment.
Knowledge of the food ingredients, pharmaceutical or chemical industry preferred.
Demonstrates excellent written, verbal and basic math skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint) a plus.
Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrates analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
Able to operate in stressful situations calmly.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
