Responsibilities Include:
- Helping patients and their families feel comfortable during their appointments.
- Assisting the dentist with a variety of procedures, including procedures with the patient under varying levels of sedation and under general anesthesia.
- Taking radiographs.
- Completing exam and treatment notes with the dentist.
- Coronal polishing and applying fluoride.
- Applying sealants.
- Quality infection control procedures, including maintaining instrument sterilization.
- Completing chairside restorations - Assist in clinic maintenance procedures.
