This position supports our healthcare professional liability line of business.
Our next Data Specialist will be hybrid and based in one of our regional offices.
We report to the office as needed for moments that matter, including:
team meetings, companywide meetings, training and special events.
The Data Specialist is responsible for processing, reviewing, and submitting required reports to required company leaders and applicable State agencies, in an accurate and timely manner.
This position operates within defined reporting windows to support external and internal compliance requirements.
The Data Specialist works closely with Claim Specialists, Underwriting, Treasury, Legal, Compliance staff, State agencies, and Business partners as necessary.
The Data Specialist will also assist with system testing.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
70% - Evaluate, complete, process appropriate reports, filings, and requests.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Obtain and maintain data related to business requirements and user needs.
Milliman data management and support.
Claims State Reporting (to include Medicare binder to Legal).
PCF processing and reconciliation.
EPP registration/maintenance.
Maintain all company Letter of Credit (LOC) and Acknowledgment of Financial Responsibility (AFR) documents.
Data Integrity (to include CIS).
Develop and distribute TPA reports.
BoardVantage.
Maintenance of recurring reports and Agent distributions lists.
Develop working knowledge of reporting programs.
Run data management reports to ensure proper workflow and empower staff to increase operating efficiency and make appropriate decisions.
20% - Maintain procedures and processes:
Remain current and complaint with industry standards.
Conduct audits to ensure accuracy, completeness and eliminate human error for continuous improvement.
Audits include, but are not limited to:
LOC/AFR audits.
PCF audits.
DBA.
Business Addresses.
New Client information.
Assists in development and maintenance of procedural documents.
10% - Secondary Duties may include but are not limited to:
Process Certified policies.
Assist department in communicating best practices to users and providing ongoing education and training.
Communicate issues that indicate a need for enhancements or modifications to applications or processes.
Perform special projects as directed by management and live the Treated Fairly brand every day.
System testing.
Adhere to records retention policy.
Assists in implementing changes as appropriate.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required.
Associate degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred.
Minimum of five years' experience in administrative support role, preferably in an insurance environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task effectively.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Detail oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

94 The salary range displayed represents the entirety of the pay grade for this position.
Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, your location and comparison to other team members already in this role.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
