This is a full time position in an expanding office! The candidate must be available during open office hours Monday-Friday and have evening availability.
Benefits are available after introductory period.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate must love children, exude positive energy and be a great team player.
Duties include:
Verifying Insurance Benefits Review and send insurance claims Estimating patient copays and notify patients Following up consistently on claims to ensure timely process and payment Auditing patient accounts to confirm outstanding balances and take immediate action to collect payment by calling patients Troubleshoot billing issues and insurance inquiries Insurance administration such as adding plans, insurance verification, and updating benefit breakdown.
Statements/Collection Set up payment plans Claims corrections Aging report Reports-AR, Aging insurance claims Figure co-pays for Treatment changes Calculate Predeterminations Update insurance fees Knowledge of Open Dental Software a plus.
Accounting background preferred but not required.
Advanced Pediatric Dentistry has a resident therapy dog, Calibur, and the candidate must be comfortable around animals.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
