This includes compliance with procedures of DFA as well as outside agencies and customers.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operation of assigned maintenance technicians according to cost and quality standards in the department.
Develop and implement training plans for mechanics to enhance their skills.
Schedule and assign tasks and/or work orders Monitor and adjust staffing levels to ensure efficient support of plant operations Foster teamwork consistent with our company and plant Mission, Vision, and Core Values Coach and develop teammates, utilizing the performance management system.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate, regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.

Education and
Experience:
High School diploma/GED required; Bachelors Degree Preferred At least five (5) years experience in manufacturing environment.
At least 1 year of supervisor experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Solid working knowledge of refrigeration, electricity/pneumatic, motor controls, building maintenance, plumbing and HVAC Experience with processing and packaging equipment and electronic control systems Familiarity with Allen-Bradley Controls Effective written/oral communication Understand the proper use of work orders, priorities, scheduling, etc.
Ability to establish priorities and handle multiple tasks Ability to develop strong relationships with all employees, supervisors and managers Must demonstrate enthusiastic attitude towards leading change and implementation of systematic processes required to achieve maintenance objectives, which directly support manufacturing excellence Shift:
Nights 6pm - 6:
30 am (24/7 operation) 2-2-3 rotation Must be able to read, write and speak English EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Veteran.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
