30pm Summary of Position:
To provide the district with a safe, attractive, clean athletic/recreational play areas as well as maintain the district property in general.
Requirements:
Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs.
Climb ladders up to 40 feet Evidence of prior experience in the areas of landscaping, operating heavy equipment and vehicles including snow removal Knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft office Knowledge of laying out sports athletic fields Primary Duties:
Plan, organize schedule work load on a daily.
weekly basis Maintain athletic fields, grounds, and play areas for all users of the district facilities including mowing, seeding, fertilizing, irrigating, removing leaves and rubbish, and applying pesticides.
Cut grass , trim/prune trees and shrubbery.
Maintain trails, entrances and flower beds.
Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas.
Spread sand, salt to prevent slipping.
This includes hand shoveling.
Collect and transport rubbish and recyclable items though out the district Remove leaves, and debris from roofs on a regular basis Maintain, adjust, repair and provide storage of all grounds equipment, vehicles, Perform all additional duties as assigned by the Head Groundskeeper.
