As a OIS Software Developer supporting the Navy Ordnance Information Systems a typical day will include:
Performs all phases of the software development lifecycleAnalyzes user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needsCreates a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an applicationPerforms software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needsPrepares reports on software project specifications, activities, or statusDocuments the software or system for future maintenance and updates
Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalentDevelopment experience to include:
Java, Python, PLSQL, XML/XSD.
XSLT, SQL Oracle Forms/ReportsCompTIA A
certification requiredSecret clearance requiredKnowledge of Ordnance Information System (OIS) is a plus, but not required.
